# Text Module

|| The Text Module allows your customers to add custom text elements to products. 


### Step 1: Include the Text Module in your UI (Module is active by default)

1. Navigate to **Appearance > Modules**
2. Add the Text Module by drag and drop
3. **Save Changes!**

### Step 2: Adjust Settings

Now switch to **Settings > Element Properties** (or [__Customization Profiles__](https://fpd-doc.ganymede-apps.net/en/article/customization-profiles-tailoring-towards-the-perfect-user-experience-duwlhs/) for advanced setting structures) to adjust certain common text settings.
* **Colors:** Set available colors.
* **Text Interaction:** Set the interaction options for your customers.
* **Default Font Size:** Set default font size (e.g., 30). You can also set minimum and maximum font sizes.
* **Bounding Box:** Set Bounding Box Mode.

Additional settings that can affect text upload can be found in Settings > Advanced and Settings > Interface.
* **Disable Text Emojis:** Prevent users from adding emojis to text elements.
* **In Canvas Text Editing:** Allow users to edit text **directly on the canvas** via double-click (desktop) or tap (mobile).
* **Text Link Group Properties:** Choose which properties (e.g., font size, color) should **sync across all elements** in the same Text Link Group.
