# Pixabay Integration

**Our app allows your customers to select images directly from Pixabay within the product designer. With this addition, users can search and select images directly from the Pixabay library inside the product designer.**

###### 1. Retrieve an API Key

1. Go to the [Pixabay API documentation](https://pixabay.com/api/docs/)
2. Log in to your Pixabay account or create a new account.
3. Your **API key** will be displayed under the “key” parameter

###### 2. Access High-Resolution Photos

1. To use **high-res images** (larger than 640×540 px), request permission:
* Visit the high-res permission page in the Pixabay API docs.
* Click **“requires permission”** next to the headline.

2. A modal will appear. Complete all checkboxes and provide a short explanation of your use case, for example:

> “I am selling business cards and want to give my customers the possibility to access photos from Pixabay.”

3. Wait **24–48 hours** for confirmation via email.

###### 3. Enter the API Key in the app settings

1. Go to **Global Settings → Interface → Images**
2. Enter your **Pixabay API key**
3. If you have high-res permission, enable **“Pixabay High-Res Images”**
4. Select the **language** for Pixabay image searches (e.g., English)

| Always enable high-res images if your products require print-quality graphics. Ensure your API key is correct; otherwise, Pixabay images will not appear in the designer.
