FAQ - Why does the designer not show up on my page

You have installed our app and created your first customization following this tutorial, but when you check the frontend, you don't see the designer or the customize button?

Here is what you can check before reaching out to us with this issue:

1) The app embed is not active:

To check this, go to the main page of our app and check for the app embed section. It will tell you if the embed is active, and if it is inactive, there is a button that will lead you directly to your theme customization to activate it.

2) Your theme isn't automatically recognized:

If your app embed is active, and you have connected a customization to one of your store products, but the designer doesn't show, it's possible that our app doesn't automatically recognize your theme. In that case, some theme-specific integration is needed. You can either try to do this yourself in Settings > Integration > Theme if you know a bit about CSS selectors, or we can do this for you.

Aside from that, interference with other apps can be a possible reason for the app not showing correctly, but most of the time, it is related to the theme integration.
