Canceling your Subscription - Shopify Billing
Canceling Your Subscription and How Shopify Billing Works
If you want to stop using Fancy Product Designer, you can cancel your subscription directly inside the app. This article explains how to cancel and why you may still see a charge afterward.
How to Cancel Your Subscription
- Open the Fancy Product Designer app in your Shopify admin.
- Navigate to the "Subscriptions" tab in the left menu.
- Click "Cancel Subscription" in the top right corner of the page.
Important: There is no confirmation step. The cancellation takes effect immediately, and your access to the app stops right away.

Your store data and configurations are kept after cancellation. If you resubscribe later, everything will still be there.
The 14-Day Free Trial
When you install the app, you start a 14-day free trial. The trial begins the moment you agree to a subscription plan — not on installation. You will not be charged during those 14 days.
To avoid any charge, cancel before the trial period ends.
Difference to just Uninstalling
You can also just uninstall the app, the subscription will automatically be cancel, but we will need to delete you data after a will. That's a requirement from Shopify and a difference to canceling your subscription.
Why You May Still See a Charge After Uninstalling
Uninstalling the app automatically cancels your subscription. However, if your 14-day trial had already ended before you uninstalled, Shopify will still bill you for the billing period that was in progress at that time. This is expected behavior — the charge reflects the time you had the app active.
